Curriculum Vitae
Personal data and education
I was born in Udine on 30.05.1966. In 1985 I have graduated from Liceo Scientifico Niccolò Copernico in Udine. I have attended Medical School and then switched to the Philosophy Faculty of the University of Padua. I am currently working on my graduation thesis.
In 1989 in Venice I have passed the Cambridge Proficiency in English as a Foreign Language Examination with an "A".
Between November 1999 and April 2000 I have attended a postgraduate course in literary translation at the Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori ÒSan PellegrinoÓ in Misano Adriatico.
I am currently living in Padua, Italy.
Job experience
From 1989 I have worked both as a translator and a reader for Casa Editrice Nord, Milan.
From 1995 until 1998 I have collaborated with the literary translation agency Guado snc (now Selida Grafiche Editoriali) in Milan.
I have occasionally done technical translations in the medical and biological field, with English both as source and target language.
From 1998 I have been working for Mondadori, specifically for the SF line Urania, both as translator and reader.
I have worked occasionally for Rizzoli, Fabbri, Meridiano Zero.
